Jonzac is ideally located between Bordeaux, La Rochelle, Angoulême or nearest : Cognac, Saintes and Royan. Jonzac is easy to reach from the highway A10 from  (exit Pons from the north and Mirambeau from the south).  Meux is crossed by the D2 (Barbezieux to the estuary of  Gironde via Jonzac).

By train: The train station of Jonzac is located on the line Bordeaux - Nantes. A bus service from the TGV station of Angoulême to Jonzac operates on week-ends with a stop in Meux.
